August 12, 2022 Carol's Dragon Fly Ranch Home of Carol's Pond I have spoken with a lot of my friends this week and I have enjoyed it immensely. Hopefully I will talk with more of them. This week saw a first, Whitey and his mate were here at the same time. I see Whitey frequently but I had never seen the two of them before. They were dining on fresh sushi!! Tuesday, Dr. Campbell a pain management specialist gave me an injection in my spine to try and control the pain some. So far I can not tell any benefit from this cortisone injection. Also on what I call Road Runner Alley, I saw a Road Runner. They are a tall bird. It was strutting across the road like he owned it. But I was moving right along and he decided to fly. He only flew about 20 feet then it was back to running. At the bank yesterday a crackle, a bird between the size of a blackbird and a crow was on the parking lot when a butterfly of some type flew buy. The crackle saw it and took off
